an Island Made for Two

If an island could only speak, Faarufushi would talk quietly and seductively. With appealing words, Faarufushi would describe how gently the waves kiss her shoreline and how picture-perfect her favourite locations are.

At Adore Maldives, we have recently visited the island and absolutely ADORE it! Faarufushi is definitely a lady among other luxury resorts in the Maldivessmall coral island, big time beauty. Want to explore the ocean even more? Go deep sea fishing and discover the traditional way of hand-line fishing in the Maldives or enquiry in a PADI 5 Star dive center about PETER Diving, a new way of exploring the ocean. PETER diving is an excellent option for beginners: with the air supply floating on the surface, PETER divers can go up to 6 meters equipped just with a mouthpiece.

Nika SPA – The Iconic Coconut Domes

If we were to choose one iconic structure on Faarufushi Island, it would definitely be Nika Spa. Each of its treatment room is shaped like a coconut dome, located in the lush gardens and vegetation of Faarufushi. Elevated with walkways leading up to the treatment rooms each dome features a private changing room with bathtub, shower and modern bathroom facilities. Everyday morning, under the banyan tree at Nika Spa of Faarufushi, yoga and meditation are arranged.

Couples and honeymooners, but also families seeking a peaceful location are enjoying the seclusion of their private pools or direct access to the beautiful lagoon, just few steps from the bungalows’ decks. In the evenings, the privacy of semi-curved seatings of Boli, suspended over the ocean make the cosiest spots for those who collect sunsets memories. And while walking around the pathways full of palm trees under the starred sky, the gentle voice of Faarufushi whispers:

“Ever wondered which island is made for two?”
